Review - January 2020
The first spot of sunshine saw some hardy souls take to the roads of North Yorkshire for a ride up to Helmsley and Richmond. 220 miles in sunshine and freezing temperatures!
And yes - cake was consumed!
Dave and Chris Cross organised a brilliant day out in Manchester at the indoor skydiving centre - iFly.
A great social event which was concluded with a meal.
Another sunny day and another winter ride - E-YARD are quite hardy souls!
Hoody and Paul rode out and did some tutor training - no cake though....
The monthly meeting was held at the Beverley Golf Club and was a review of the past year, a celebration of the events and test passes, and finished with a buffet and raffle!
Jules and Jo were out driver training throughout January, preparing our next set of members for their tests.
E-YARD were invited to a meeting of the Safer Roads Humber as it set out the schedule for motorcycle engagement and enforcement for the 2020 season.
The reason RoSPA E-YARD were invited was due to the success and popularity of the #RidetheWolds event, which they had identified and recognised as a being a great season opener for motorcycle awareness. Praise indeed, and also the reason the event was created originally. #RidetheWolds will take place on Sunday 26 April 2020 at the Wolds Way Cafe.
No formal events are planned for February, other than the next group meeting which will take place at 1930hrs, Wednesday 26 February 2020
